My Stroy
After years of working as a dance/movement therapist and couple and family therapist in outpatient clinics, community centers, and other big institutions, I realized that these settings aren’t for me. I enjoyed working with people of all backgrounds, but I wanted to create a therapy practice that truly centered the experience of marginalized populations, such as QTPOC, autistic adults, polyam, and AAPI, who often struggle to find therapists that understand and resonate with their unique identities and lived experience.
Therapeutic Approach
At Kitchen Table Psychotherapy, I offer therapy that’s creative, supportive, and tailored to you. I believe that healing happens when you feel safe to be yourself and supported to try new things. Whether we talk, move, create, or just take a breath together, I’ll meet you where you are so you can finally process with someone who gets it and be empowered for what’s next.
In sessions, we might focus on emotions, relationships, or patterns that feel hard and out of balance. If you come in with a partner or family member, we’ll work together to better understand each other, listen more openly, and feel more connected. You’ll always have a voice in the process.
I am committed to fostering long-lasting change and help you achieve your goals through a compassionate, collaborative process. You don’t have to suffer or make yourself small, and you don’t have to do it all alone. I’m here to walk with you.
